Ian Smith – Technician A time served technician with 7 years experience in the build, test and installation of mass spectrometers. The last 4 years at IDT involved in the build, test and installation of SR Beamline equipment at our offices and on customer site. |

Jon Kelly – Project Engineer Jon started with IDT in January 04, he has a PhD in Experimental Physics. During Summer 2004 Jon has been seconded working at the GSECARS team at the APS Chicago working on (amongst other thins) EPICs beamline control and monochromator feedback systems. |

Chris Rycroft – Project Engineer An IDT Project Engineer, with a degree in Aeronautical engineering and was previously employed by QinetiQ as an Analytical Engineer, thermal modeling of military jet engines for over 5 years. Chris is fully trained in ANSYS and has experience in Optics thermal and stress analysis. |

Stephen Bloomfield – Project Engineer Stephen joined in November 2006 and has many years of experience in UHV precision mechanical design. |

Dave Bouch – Technician David joined IDT in March 2004, he has over 25 years experience as a Beamline technician at Daresbury Laboratory.

Gary Markey – Technician Gary joined IDT in March 2007, he has over 25 years experience as a Beamline technician at Daresbury Laboratory.

In Addition... IDT administration is supported by IDT's new management accountant Ester Harvey for all its account and financial data systems. Ester is a very experienced management accountant with expertise gained in industry. |

Dr Peter Eng is a senjor research associate at GSECARS Sector 13 at the APS. Dr Eng has been very active in developing innovative SR beamline instrumentation, most notably the Kirkpatrick Baez X-ray mirror system licensed through IDT. |
