Product focus: Canted Undulator Slits
IDT has several primary & secondary 'L' mask designs in successful operation on NE CAT & LS CAT at the APS in canted geometry.
Highlights include:
- FE Analysis approved by APS for 150mA & 200mA operation
- Proven 'L' shaped mask - dual aperture
- Independent vertical & horizontal motion of each mask
- Interface to APS standard support tables
- Survey alignment references on each mask
IDT is also developing our proven centre-opening & scanning
undulator primary slit mechanism for use in a canted geometry. Highlights include:-
- Thermal analysis for canted geometry for both horizontal & vertical geometry
- Proven capability to scan the undulator cone with a single motorised axis
- Proven blade stability under undulator power
See our product datasheets on high heat load apertures and undulator primary slits for full details, or contact us for more information.
News Update: B18 DCM @ DLS
IDT recently designed, built, tested and installed a complex DCM on B18 at Diamond Light Source.
This is a very demanding DCM and can be used in step scan, quick scan or continuous scanning EXAFS mode.
The DCM is a directly cooled fixed exit scanning monochromator with dual crystals - Si(111) & Si(311).
The DCM has been successfully tested & commissioned with beam at DLS.
See our product datasheet for more information.
Small KB Mirrors
IDT is supplying several new Small KB Mirror systems to SR facilities around the world.
Our
Small KB system installed on ID5 at the Australian
Synchrotron continues to operate reliably & produce
excellent focussing to sub-micron spot size.
