IDT provide a cost effective & superior mechanical design service for precision opto-mechanism & instrument design, specialising in state-of-the-art equipment  for synchrotron radiation beamlines.

IDT utilise the SolidWorks suite of advanced 3D CAD software, supplemented by 'world-standard' AutoCAD. IDT engineers are also fully conversant with working in other CAD system (e.g. Pro-E).

IDT have wide-ranging experience in collaborating internationally on complex projects from concept to final detail design. With gigabit fast internet connections we are ideally set up to quickly and effectively communicate ideas and feedback through a variety of electronic formats - e.g. customers have the ability to download, browse and mark-up work-in-progress drawings via Solidworks ecad file formats with in built viewer. No specialised software installations are required by the customer at all.
