IDT have developed a goniometer with angular range of ±5°, proven on the Double Laue
Monochromator installed on the Imaging & Medical beamline at the Australian Synchrotron.
The goniometer has excellent repeatability plus many other features:-
HV & UHV compatible.
Unidirectional repeatability to <1µrad.
High resolution <2µrad per step.
Load capability up to 500N.
Fitted with standard encoders.
2-3µm accuracy limit switches.
Compact footprint.
Inline gearbox for high loads.
Very smooth ball screw drive.
Ceramic bearings throughout.
Low parasitic errors.
Larger angular ranges possible to ±10°.
Orthogonal arcs with common rotation centre possible.
