Goniometers
IDT have developed a goniometer with angular range of ±5°, proven on the Double Laue Monochromator installed on the Imaging & Medical beamline at the Australian Synchrotron.
The goniometer has excellent repeatability plus many other features:-
- HV & UHV compatible.
- Unidirectional repeatability to <1µrad.
- High resolution <2µrad per step.
- Load capability up to 500N.
- Fitted with standard encoders.
- 2-
3µm accuracy limit switches. - Compact footprint.
- Inline gearbox for high loads.
- Very smooth ball screw drive.
- Ceramic bearings throughout.
- Low parasitic errors.
- Larger angular ranges possible to ±10°.
- Orthogonal arcs with common rotation centre possible.
