IDT designed, built & installed the multi-function Hard X-Ray Micro Analysis (HXMA)
beamline at the Canadian light source, used for a variety of techniques such as XAFS
and powder diffraction.
HXMA is a wiggler beamline requiring cutting-edge solutions for high heat load components.
The project included the design, assembly, testing and on-site installation of a
collimating mirror, a double-toroidal focusing mirror, primary slits, filters, beam
diagnostics (including tungsten vane monitors and fluorescent screen) and a family
of experimental tables.
